Köln

Köln is King Balvantz’s eagle.  In the story, an eagle is first mentioned when a message is bring received in Daliium, and King Dunhurst knows that King Balvantz has an eagle.

The next day, Köln wants to greet Mi’atsha, but Mi’atsha fears exposure and pretends to fear the eagle.  Köln is quite indignant and doesn’t understand why Mi’atsha won’t allow him to land, especially since he lands on her all the time when she is at the farm.  A little later in the story, Köln drops on her shoulder in the castle and Mi’atsha apologizes for treating him so badly.
